When Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis won the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, he urged NFL players to create change in their communities, to be the kind of role models our great nation deserved.

Thank God the children of Arizona have Darnell Dockett to look up to.

Via the Arizona Republic, the Cardinals defensive end posted a video to his Instagram account offering some sage advice to a youth football team.

“I want y’all to get a girlfriend by next week, right?” he began. “I want y’all to say no to drugs.

“I don’t want y’all hanging in the strip clubs — not yet.”

Presumably, Dockett doesn’t want the younger competition there, as he’s used Twitter to invite famous women to eat chicken wings at such establishments before.

Either way, we’re particularly glad these lovely children were able to hear Dockett’s unique brand of authentic frontier gibberish.
