DeMarcus Ware in, Aqib Talib and Brandon Marshall out for Broncos

The Broncos defense will be getting a key player back in the lineup on Sunday, but they’ll be missing two others against the Chargers.

Linebacker DeMarcus Ware is active for the first time since breaking his forearm in the second week of the regular season. Ware will be able to work in with Von Miller and Shane Ray in what should be an effective group off the edge as long as everyone stays healthy.

The pressure they apply will help mitigate some of what’s lost without cornerback Aqib Talib. As expected, Talib is inactive because of the back injury that limited him this week. Linebacker Brandon Marshall is also down this Sunday due to a hamstring injury.

Wide receivers Travis Benjamin and Tyrell Williams and tight end Hunter Henry are all active for the Chargers after being listed as questionable, so the Chargers have the pieces in place to try to challenge a Talib-less secondary.
