Dolphins, Reshad Jones agree to contract

The Miami Dolphins have reached a deal with another draft pick.

Fifth-round draft pick Reshad Jones, a safety from Georgia, will sign his rookie contract today, Mike Berardino of the Sun Sentinel reports.

The contract is a four-year, $1.95 million deal with a signing bonus of slightly more than $160,000.

Jones, who was selected 163rd overall, was working with the second-string defense in OTAs and is expected to compete Chris Clemons for the starting free safety spot.

The Dolphins have now signed five of their eight draft picks and still need to sign their Top 3, first-round defensive end Jared Odrick, second-round linebacker Koa Misi and third-round guard John Jerry.
