Ravens quarterback Troy Smith’s agent has said that Smith wants out of Baltimore.
And one of Smith’s former teammates wants to bring him to Buffalo.
Bills safety Donte Whitner has been lobbying, Twitter style, for the team to acquire Smith, a Heisman winner at Ohio State.
“I think we should get Troy Smith to be our [quarterback], please!” Whitner said Tuesday morning.
“Troy is a proven winner and leader!” Whitner said later. “Troy can come in and compete with the guys we have and the BEST man will win the job!”
