Former New England Patriots safety Willie Andrews, a 2006 draft pick who was cut in 2008 after multiple run-ins with the law, has gotten into trouble once again.
According to the Longview (Tex.) News-Journal, Andrews and 12 other local residents were arrested after a lengthy drug-trafficking investigation.
All 13 were charged with, at a minimum, conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute hydrocodone and possession of a firearm during a drug trafficking crime.
Andrews, 27, was arrested two days after the team’s loss in Super Bowl XLII for marijuana possession. Later that year, Andrews was arrested for allegedly brandishing a gun at his girlfriend. The Patriots cut him the next day.
