GALLOWAY RETURNS TO PRACTICE

After missing three games with a foot injury, veteran receiver Joey Galloway made his return to the practice field on Thursday. Galloway was a limited participant in practice. “I am cutting and actually catching balls today, so we’re on the road to playing soon,” Galloway said, according to Pewter Report. “I’ve missed the team. This is tough to sit back and watch. I’m finally running, so at least I feel like I’m preparing myself to come back.” It’s unclear when that will happen. “He’s got to test it out a little bit,” coach Jon Gruden said. “You can’t just go through drills for an entire practice. You have to try to simulate a game. We’ll continue to monitor his progress.” The Bucs could use Galloway this week. They face the Panthers on Sunday in a battle for first place in the NFC South.
