The Chargers will unwrap center Nick Hardwick for Christmas.
On the shelf since the team’s season opener because of an ankle injury, Hardwick will return to the starting lineup tonight, according to Jason LaCanfora of NFL Network.
The Chargers hope Hardwick’s long-awaited return can improve a rushing attack that is among the worst in the league. Alfonso Boone will start at DE in place of injured Jacques Cesaire.
The game starts at 7:30 ET, earlier than the usual start time for NFL Network game. So we hope dinner gets going shortly.
