With the Mike Vick news still creating a major buzz, we’ll be balancing a few different tasks this morning. In addition to posting new stuff right here (F5, F5, F5), we’ll be doing a few radio spots, all of which can be accessed via the Internet.
An hour ago, we visited with our old friends the Junkies in D.C., to talk about Vick and his possible connection to the Redskins. At 9:20 a.m. ET, we’ll check in with Dan Patrick. At 9:40 a.m. ET, we’ll make our first stop with Vic Lombardi and Gary Miller at ESPN Radio in Denver. At 10:07 a.m. ET or thereabouts, we’ll chat briefly with our pal Hoppy Kercheval of the West Virginia Metro News Talkline. And then at 11:20 a.m. ET, we’ll make our weekly stop in Minneapolis, with Paul Allen of KFAN.
Meanwhile, we’ll be dealing with the reality that the official PFT vehicle is smoking from places where smoke isn’t supposed to be emanating.
If nothing else, the explosion of the engine of a ’68 VW bus during a live spot will make for compelling radio.
