Jaguars undrafted free agents

Some people have taken shots at Jaguars G.M. Gene Smith in the aftermath of his decision to draft defensive tackle Tyson Alualu with the 10th pick in the first round.

No one can give him any guff for his willingness to turn over every stone to find helpful players, however. The Jags have already reached agreements with 19 undrafted players in hopes of uncovering a gem among the players passed over during the league’s selection process.

The new Jaguars are tackle Daniel Baldridge, Marshall; linebacker Kyle Bosworth, UCLA; tight end Mike Caussin, James Madison; linebacker Jacob Cutrera, LSU; center John Este, Hawaii, cornerback Josh Gordy, Central Michigan; wide receiver Jason Harmon, Florida Atlantic; quarterback Trevor Harris, Edinboro; tackle Kevin Haslam, Rutgers; cornerback Chris Hawkins, LSU; running back Chad Kackert, New Hampshire; punter Robert Malone, Fresno State; wide receiver Chris McGaha, Arizona State; defensive tackle Kommonya Quaye, South Dakota; fullback Ben Stallings, Lambuth; wide receiver Roren Thomas, Lindenwood; safety Terrell Whitehead, Norfolk State; linebacker Aaron Morgan, Louisiana Monroe and punter Mike Brandtner of Iowa State.
