In March we noted that former Browns G.M. George Kokinis could return to the Ravens. Today that’s what happened.
Kokinis, who was the Ravens’ Director of Pro Personnel from 2003 to 2008, will now be a Senior Personnel Assistant.
“It’s good to have George back,” Ravens G.M. Ozzie Newsome said in the team’s announcement. “George knows the game, understands what it takes to win, and he will help us find players who will help us win. He has done that before for us.”
The Browns fired Kokinis during the 2009 season after less than a year on the job.
The Ravens also announced that Mark Azevedo was promoted to Area Scout for the Southeast, Southwest and Midwest.
