Lynch, Parrish Sidelined At Bills Minicamp

Bills wide receiver Roscoe Parrish left the first day of Bills minicamp early, according to Chris Brown of BuffaloBills.com. Parrish was working on returning punts before leaving the field. There’s no official word on an injury, coach Dick Jauron won’t address the media until Thursday, but Brown said Parrish was holding an ice pack on his right calf after leaving the trainer’s room. He’ll be joined on the sideline by Marshawn Lynch. He’s on the field and wearing a jersey but not taking parts in any drills. Per Brown, Fred Jackson is filling in as the starter while Lynch observes. No reason has been given for Lynch’s day off. Lynch’s absence may open up some reps for Justise Hairston. The running back was signed on Monday to give the Bills a full 80-man roster for minicamp. Hairston, who went to Central Connecticut State, spent time on the practice squads of the Colts and Patriots in 2007.
