During his playing days, former Bucs and Broncos safety John Lynch likely wasn’t the subject of three PFT posts in roughly 12 hours. But now that he’s dipping a toe into the broadcasting pool, he’s making more news than ever. Here’s the deal, as best we understand it right now. (Which means that there’s a chance we’ve got it wrong “right now,” and that we’ll figure it all out later.) Lynch will be joining FOX as a game analyst. That specific deal has been done, we’re told, for months. But NFL Network remains in play. If Lynch joins the Sunday pregame show, he’ll contribute from the site of the FOX game he’ll be working. He might later become an on-air contributor to NFLN’s coverage of the Thursday night games. And ESPN apparently might still be in play, too, despite Lynch’s obvious limitations on Sundays.
