Several of you have asked us via e-mail and Twitter whether we heard Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Marino say the “S” word during halftime of the early games.
Yes. Yes, we did.
And now you can, too.
But, in all fairness and with an ever-increasing understanding of the challenges posed by trying to speak coherently while someone is talking through a plug jammed into your ear, we think Marino misspoke. We think he meant to say that the Dolphins would “finish it off” and instead “finish sh-t off” came out.
