We can now rest easier, it is apparently settled.

After a week of back-and-forth, it appears Jets defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson will be in attendance when the Jets convene for minicamp today, according to Jason La Canfora of CBSSports.com.

Wilkerson has been unhappy about the progress of contract talks, and wants to be rewarded for his past work. But the Jets have a rare moment of leverage, having just drafted Leonard Williams in the first round, adding to an already deep group.

There had been mixed reports as to whether he would or would not show, but it appears that for now, Wilkerson has chosen to avoid the $72,920 fines associated, and make an appearance in hopes of sparking some movement on a new deal.
