Panini, a collectible sticker and trading card company, has manually removed former Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez from its sticker books for the upcoming season, ESPN’s Darren Rovell reported Thursday.

Panini, which sells packs of stickers, is also offering to send a sticker of new Patriots quarterback Tim Tebow to collectors who find a Hernandez sticker, Rovell said. Per ESPN, if someone finds an Aaron Hernandez sticker in a Panini pack and wants a Tim Tebow sticker, Panini will furnish a Tebow sticker for the cost of a self-addressed envelope.

Panini has made one million Tebow stickers, ESPN reported. Also, the company will be replacing Hernandez trading cards with Tebow cards in “future card sets,” Rovell said.

Have a theory that not everything can be tied to Tim Tebow? Well, it just got a little weaker.
