49ers star inside linebacker Patrick Willis is out for the rest of Sunday’s game against Indianapolis with a groin injury, the team announced on its Twitter feed.
Willis appeared to be injured in the third quarter.
The 28-year-old Willis is regarded as one of the NFL’s standouts at his position.
