Running back Robert Martin signed with New England on Sunday. The Patriots cut him Monday.

Martin, 23, originally entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with the Giants in 2018.

The Giants waived the 5-foot-11, 212-pounder at the end of training camp last year.

He spent his rookie season on the Giants’ practice squad.
