Jason Taylor received interest from the Patriots last year, but his agent tells the Boston Herald that he hasn’t heard from Bill Belichick this offseason.
Taylor is visiting the Jets Wednesday, but it’s believed he’d rather stay in Miami. The Dolphins have thus far been lukewarm about bringing Taylor back. Any offer the Jets make for Taylor will be limited by the “Final Eight” plan.
The moral to the story: Rex Ryan looks a look more eager to hire Taylor in New York than former Giants co-workers Bill Belichick and Bill Parcells.
