Despite reports that Giants linebacker Antonio Pierce faces charges for stashing the gun that receiver Plaxico Burress used to shoot himself with accidentally, Jay Glazer of FOX reports that Pierce is cooperation with authorities. Per Glazer, Pierce also is helping police locate the gun. It’s unknown whether the cooperation is the result of a commitment that he won’t be prosecuted. On Saturday, Pierce’s lawyer reportedly offered cooperation in exchange for a promise that Pierce wouldn’t be charged.
