The speculation about Sam Bradford in Philadelphia has been day to day. But it appears to be a week to week situation.
According to Eliot Shorr-Parks of NJ.com, a source said there was “no way” the injured quarterback was playing the next two games.
That means Mark Sanchez would have the reins this week against the Buccaneers and on Thanksgiving against the Lions (pass the pie).
Bradford is in the concussion protocol, but the separated left shoulder is apparently the bigger issue at the moment.
Eagles coach Chip Kelly said today he hadn’t gotten an update on the shoulder injury.
“I have not had that,” Kelly said. “So the concussion is the No. 1 thing. He can’t do anything until he’s cleared from his concussion.
With Bradford unavailable, Thad Lewis will back up Sanchez.
