Reports: Ailing Chris Snee, Giants to meet on Monday
A mainstay on the Giants’ offensive line is reportedly set to meet with the club on Monday to weigh his future.
According to Vacchiano, "(r)etirement is an option” for Snee, a four-time Pro Bowler who’s started on a pair of Super Bowl-winning teams in New York.
The 32-year-old Snee has dealt with elbow and hip ailments and played just three games a season ago.
Via Garafolo, a poster on Giants-focused website BigBlueInteractive.com had indicated Snee was to retire on Monday, but Fox Sports and the Daily News report Snee hasn’t yet made a final call.
A Boston College product, Snee is the son-in-law of Giants head coach Tom Coughlin. He was a second-round selection of the Giants ten years ago.
John Jerry, Brandon Mosley and James Brewer are among the Giants’ potential other options at right guard.
