It’s been a pretty cool week for Tom Benson.
On Saturday night, he presented Rickey Jackson into the Pro Football Hall of Fame; Jackson was the first player that played the majority of his career with the Saints to make it to Canton.
On Monday morning, Benson traveled with his team to the White House, despite any political disagreements Benson may have with the residents there.
President Obama, for his part, said he was “very proud” of Benson for keeping the team in New Orleans.
