X-rays apparently were inconclusive. By Friday, an answer will emerge as to the status of Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo’s twice-broken left collarbone.
Per a source with knowledge of the situation, there’s “most likely” a small fracture in the bone.
After Thursday’s loss, Romo told reporters that the sensation was similar to his past experiences with breaking the bone. He’ll have a CT scan to determine whether the bone is indeed broken.
If it’s broken, Romo undoubtedly will be done for the year. If it’s not broken, it’ll be interesting to see when he returns -- especially with the Cowboys at 3-8.
