The Ravens got several injured players back at practice when they got back to work after their bye week on Wednesday, but wide receiver Steve Smith wasn’t among them.
Smith sat out with the ankle injury that forced him to miss the team’s last two games. Things took a turn for the better on Thursday, however, as Smith was listed as a limited participant.
Friday will bring word about his chances of playing against the Steelers on Sunday with anything other than a questionable designation suggesting that this week’s work is setting the table for a Week 10 return.
Tackle Ronnie Stanley, guard Marshal Yanda, safety Lardarius Webb and linebacker Terrell Suggs were full participants for the second straight day. Cornerback Shareece Wright missed practice a day after getting in a limited session due to a thigh injury.
