Jaguars defensive tackle Terrance Knighton was fined $25,000 for last week’s hit on Colts quarterback Andrew Luck.
Knighton’s fine letter said he “made helmet-to-helmet contact with a defenseless player,” and it was the second time the hit cost him.
The penalty he drew negated an interception by cornerback Aaron Ross on the play.
Safety Dawan Landry was also fined $10,000 for a hit on Luck and “making contact to the head and neck area of a runner who declared himself down by sliding feet first.”
