The Texans are still waiting for Jadeveon Clowney to get his first NFL sack.
But at least he’s back on the practice field today.
Via Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, Clowney was back to work Thursday after missing Wednesday’s practice and last week’s game with an ankle injury.
He originally hurt his ankle two weeks ago against the Colts, and getting him back on the field today increases his chances of playing this weekend against the Dolphins. But they may not be great, as defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel said he looked “so-so” and “was testing it out.”
The former No. 1 overall pick hasn’t recorded a sack yet in his NFL career, but was reasonably effective early this season. He only played four games last season, with a knee injury that required microfracture surgery.
