The Titans have shown no loyalty to the acquisitions of previous administrations when putting together this year’s roster, but they brought back a guy with roots in Tennessee.

Via Jim Wyatt of the team’s official website, the Titans have re-signed wide receiver/return man Marc Mariani, who was just cut by the Bears.

They released wide receiver Tre McBride to clear the roster spot.

He was a seventh-round pick of the Titans in 2010 who made the Pro Bowl as a rookie return man. Injuries plagued his career (costing him the 2012 and 2013 seasons) and he was released during final cuts in 2014.
