The Tennessee Titans are raising ticket prices for their third consecutive year even though fans are feeling the pinch of the nation’s economic crisis, the Tennessean reports. It’s the eighth time in the past decade that the Titans have raised ticket prices, but this is an extremely modest increase. While the Philadelphia Eagles have raised the majority of their tickets by $5 per game and $10 more for lower-level end-zone seating, the Titans are only going up $2 to $3. That means season tickets will range between $43 and $83 per game. In fairness, the Titans’ tickets are among the best values in the league considering the team has made the playoffs for the past two years and the prices ranked 29th in the league last season. “After a lot of deliberation we decided on a very modest increase, knowing the economic climate that is facing our season ticket holders,’' Titans executive vice president of administration and facilities Don MacLachlan told the Tennessean. “We have always had some of the lowest prices in the NFL and wanted to make sure we stayed in the very lowest pricing echelon of the league.”
