The Steelers look likely to have their starting strong safety back in the lineup for Saturday night’s wild card game vs. Baltimore.
Twelfth-year pro Troy Polamalu, who’s started for each of Pittsburgh’s last three Super Bowl entrants, is listed as probable on the injury report with a knee ailment.
Polamalu practiced fully on Friday, as did eight other players who are designated as probable: quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (not injury related), tight end Heath Miller (not injury related), cornerback Ivan Taylor (shoulder, forearm), outside linebacker James Harrison (illness), defensive tackle Steve McLendon (shoulder), offensive tackle Mike Adams (illness), tight end Michael Palmer (groin), quarterback Landry Jones (illness).
The only other player on the Steelers’ injury report is tailback Le’Veon Bell, who is out with a knee injury.
