In six days, the New Orleans Saints will play for the first time in 2009 another member of the NFC South.
And it won’t be easy, given that the 4-2 Falcons are coming to town.
The task gets a little harder for the Saints as of right now. Per a league source, the Falcons are signing former New Orleans running back Aaron Stecker today.
Stecker was a member of the Saints organization from 2004 through 2008, and he was with the team for the first three years of coach Sean Payton’s tenure.
So even if Stecker doesn’t play, he knows the offense well -- and he can help the Falcons get ready to deal with it.
