Canada may be the two-time reigning Olympic men’s hockey champion, but it hasn’t won a World title since 2007.

Captain Sidney Crosby and Co. can change that this weekend, starting with a semifinal against host Czech Republic in Prague on Saturday, streamed on NBC Sports Live Extra at 9 a.m. ET.

Canada has been the dominant nation at Worlds, winning all eight of its games by a combined 44-goal margin. Dallas Stars forwards Jason Spezza and Tyler Seguin lead the tournament with 13 points and eight goals, respectively.

The Czechs, meanwhile, are looking for the first global championship medal since 2012. They’re guided by 43-year-old Jaromir Jagr, who played on their 1998 Olympic gold medal-winning team and scored twice in a 5-3 win over Finland in the quarterfinals Thursday.

The winner plays the winner of Saturday’s later semifinal between the U.S. and Russia in the gold-medal game Sunday, live on NBCSN and NBC Sports Live Extra at 2:30 p.m. ET.
