STAMFORD, Conn. – June 22, 2020 – Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA presents every memorable moment, new interviews and ‘watch-alongs’ with the world’s top cyclists during this week’s 2019 World Championships Week – Road Cycling, beginning tonight at 8 p.m. ET. 2019 World Championships Week – Road Cycling is presented by Zwift and continues the network’s 2019 World Championships Week coverage, which spans a multitude of Olympic and Paralympic sports over the next several weeks.

From today, Monday, June 22, through Sunday, June 28, 2019 World Championships Week – Road Cycling features more than 50 hours of programming from the 2019 UCI Road Cycling World Championships from Yorkshire, England.

In addition to full race replays, NBC Sports’ Paul Burmeister will host special editions of the men’s and women’s individual time trials and road races, and speak with cyclists throughout each event to gain their insight into the race. Burmeister will speak with American world champion Chloe Dygert throughout special editions of the women’s individual time trial and women’s road race, Australian world champion Rohan Dennis throughout the men’s individual time trial, and American Lawson Craddock in the men’s road race.

Burmeister will introduce coverage each day throughout the week’s races. NBC Sports’ Steve Schlanger called the races, joined by two-time Olympian Christian Vande Velde.

2019 World Championships Week – Road Cycling begins tonight at 8 p.m. ET with a special edition of the women’s individual time trial, featuring Burmeister’s watch-along and conversation with champion Chloe Dygert.

The full women’s individual time trial event will follow the special edition, airing at 9:30 p.m. ET.

At 8 p.m. ET, Burmeister hosts a special edition of the women’s road race and speaks with Dygert, who finished fourth in the event. The complete race follows the special edition at 9:30 p.m. ET.

The women’s junior road race begins at 1 p.m. ET on Wednesday, with the evening’s programming highlighted by the men’s individual time trial.

The special edition of the men’s individual time trial, which begins at 8 p.m. ET, features Burmeister speaking with Rohan Dennis, who won his second-consecutive title in 2019. The full replay of the men’s individual time trial starts at 9:30 p.m. ET following the special edition.
