CSN MID-ATLANTIC ANNOUNCES 133-GAME NCAA BASKETBALL SCHEDULE

2016-17 COLLEGE HOOPS PACKAGE FEATURES 87 MEN’S AND 46 WOMEN’S GAMES FROM NATION’S BEST CONFERENCES, INCLUDING ACC, CAA AND A-10

COVERAGE INCLUDES AT LEAST 64 APPEARANCES BY REGION’S TOP PROGRAMS

Bethesda, Md. (Nov. 10, 2016) – CSN Mid-Atlantic has announced its 133-game college basketball schedule for the 2016-17 season, which features 87 men’s and 46 women’s games from the nation’s top conferences, including the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) and Atlantic 10 (A-10).

CSN’s men’s schedule – which tips off Nov. 11 – includes at least 66 appearances by 15 of the region’s top programs. Set to make multiple appearances this season are Richmond, Towson, American University, George Washington, Virginia Tech, William & Mary, George Mason, Virginia, VCU, James Madison and Radford

CSN, the region’s official network of the ACC, will present 43 men’s games featuring conference teams this season. Virginia Tech is scheduled for four games and Virginia set to make three appearances. During the season, all 15 ACC teams will appear on CSN.

As the official network of the CAA, CSN will present 18 men’s conference games this season. Towson and William & Mary are set to make five appearances, with James Madison scheduled for two. CSN’s CAA men’s coverage will also include six conference tournament quarterfinal and semifinal games in March.

CSN’s men’s schedule will also feature several games from top regional programs from other conferences, highlighted by 19 combined appearances by the A-10 programs Richmond (8), George Washington (4), VCU (4) and George Mason (3).

The Patriot League’s American University is scheduled four times on CSN. Radford (2), Liberty, Old Dominion, Loyola (Maryland) and UMBC will also make CSN appearances this season.

CSN’s 46-game women’s college basketball schedule, which opens Nov. 16, includes 36 games from the ACC. Virginia is scheduled to make six appearances with Virginia Tech set for two games. CSN’s ACC coverage will also include 11 conference tournament games.

The CAA women’s basketball schedule on CSN includes coverage of James Madison (2) and William & Mary. CSN will televise six CAA women’s games overall, including the conference tournament semifinals and championship.

A-10 women’s teams featured this season include Richmond (2), George Mason (2) and George Washington. Overall, the region’s top women’s programs will make at least 16 appearances this season.
