On Saturday at 3 p.m. ET, NBC and NBCSN will televise either Red Wings-Lightning or Wild-Blues. Click here to view a map of NBC’s regionalized coverage. NBCSN will “reverse regionalize the NBC game, meaning that it will televise the game which viewers do not receive on NBC.
Due to logistical issues, not all cable/satellite/telco distributors are able to regionalize NBCSN’s coverage:
- Cox will provide the Detroit-Tampa Bay game nationally. There will be no regionalization.
- Both DirecTV and Cox will provide the second of the two games (the non-NBC game) on an alternate channel, not NBCSN.
- Additional distributors in select markets may also be affected.
