Bears signed Indiana CB Rashard Fant.
Fant (5’10/179) made 36 starts in the Hoosiers’ secondary, setting a school record in pass breakups (58) and logging five career tackles for loss and five interceptions. He earned second-team All-Big Ten in both 2016 and 2017. Smallish but speedy and tenacious, Fant is a slot corner prospect with special teams value.
