Is Louis van Gaal’s job under threat at Man United?
Following their UEFA Champions League exit in midweek, the pressure is mounting on Louis van Gaal.
With his Manchester United side already heavily criticized for not scoring enough goals and playing entertaining soccer this season, the European woes have compounded the problems van Gaal is facing.

Yes, he has been unlucky with injuries but after spending nearly $400 million on new players over the last 18 months, the Dutchman is struggling to get the best out of his team and other sides are finding very easy to stop United from scoring. Even though United are just three points off the top, they have yet to get going this season and have only scored 20 times in 15 games.
In the video above Jenna Corrado and I discuss United’s issues and if LVG could walk out -- he threatened to quit last week if players are on-board with his philosophy -- at the end of the season, a year before his contract is due to run out. With United heading to Bournemouth on Saturday (Watch live, 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC and online via Live Extra) they can’t afford a costly defeat to the newly-promoted side.

Pep Guardiola, Carlo Ancelotti and many others will be looking over at van Gaal’s situation with intrigue, as the Red Devils want to be challenging for titles and not content with a fourth place finish last season and a Champions League group stage exit this year.
