Is Steven Gerrard on his way out of Los Angeles?

After almost a year-and-a-half with the Los Angeles Galaxy, Steven Gerrard could indeed be leaving the United States’ west coast.

The ex-Liverpool midfielder posted a cryptic message on social media Sunday afternoon, which appears to indicate that he won’t be back with the Galaxy in 2017.

Gerrard’s contract is set to expire in December, leaving the Galaxy with a decision as to whether or not they will be bring back the Englishman.

The 36-year-old signed with the Galaxy in January 2015 and registered five goals and 14 assists in 34 regular season appearances for the club.

Gerrard has been rumored with a return to Europe, including a possible reunion with former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers at Scottish side Celtic.
