Manchester City has a distinct advantage entering the second leg of its UEFA Champions League quarterfinal against Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.

City and PSG drew 2-2 in France last week, giving the Premier League side a huge pair of road goals.

That means City can advance with not just a win, but a 0-0 or 1-1 draw. But they won’t be sitting back, says manager Manuel Pellegrini.

From the BBC:

“The most important aspect of this team is to score. Do we think we need to draw 0-0? That’s not the way we normally play.

“I don’t think one of the team is favourites. We went there to try and win the game and tomorrow we’ll do exactly the same.”

City will be without Vincent Kompany and Raheem Sterling, both of whom are not 100 percent fit, but Pellegrini expects Nicolas Otamendi to overcome the ankle he twisted against West Bromwich Albion.
