Pep Guardiola is a ruthless manager and this latest report reinforces that notion.

According to a report in the Daily Express, Joe Hart has been dropped for Manchester City’s opening game of the Premier League season against Sunderland on Saturday (Watch live, 12:30 p.m. ET online via NBCSports.com) and will be replaced by Willy Caballero.
Speaking ahead of his opening PL game in charge of City, Guardiola revealed that Hart must improve with his feet but seemed relatively happy to keep him at the Eithad.
Hart, 29, has been City’s longtime first-choice goalkeeper but in recent years he has made some high-profile mistakes, including the goal which knocked England out of EURO 2016. Against Iceland he somehow let a tame effort squirm through him and it added to question marks building over the summer months about his future at City.
Various reports suggest that Guardiola has requested City bid for Barceloka goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen and the German is said to have a $87 million release clause in his contract.
With multiple players being made available for transfer, others lambasted for being unfit and a plethora of new signings arriving this summer, Pep isn’t messing around at City.
