Queens Park Rangers fought hard in an attempt for their first London derby win in 10 tries, only to run out of time.

Charlie Austin played well, and the club truly appeared unlucky not to find an equalizer in the 2-1 loss. They were a step off all night.

“We played very well but you cannot keep being unlucky and sorry that you lost the game. Detail has cost us and I am genuinely sick for the players. I thought they gave everything but at this level it is the detail that matters.”

Ramsey wouldn’t like hearing this, as he’s a Harry Redknapp disciple, but he’s a welcome breath of fresh air when it comes to QPR manager media work. Here’s hoping he gets the ship in order to help the R’s avoid the drop.
