Zlatan Ibrahimovic has announced on social media that he is joining Manchester United.

Ibrahimovic, 34, is out of contract as of today with Paris Saint-Germain and it has been widely reported that he will join Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford next season.

He simply stated: “Time to let the world know, my next destination is Man Utd.”

The details surrounding any deal are unclear but previous reports have suggested that Ibrahimovic will sign an initial one-year deal at United as he arrives in the Premier League.

Below is the brief message Ibrahimovic has posted to social media via his Instagram and Twitter accounts, although no official confirmation has arrived from Manchester United and various outlets are reporting that the Swedish striker -- he retired last week following their exit from EURO 2016 -- has yet to pass a medical or agree personal terms at United.

Other reports suggest that will all be sorted on Friday and the deal will be announced officially.

The talismanic striker previously played for Mourinho at Inter Milan, while he leaves PSG a champ after winning four-straight Ligue 1 titles and racking up 156 goals in 180 appearances for Les Parisiens. The former Barcelona, AC Milan, Ajax, Malmo and Juventus striker seems like the perfect man to lead United’s forward line next season and help return them to the top four of the PL, at least.

A strange way to announce he’s signing for United but then again, Zlatan has never been a man to do things the conventional way.
