WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert said Friday night that progress is being made toward a new collective bargaining agreement with the players’ union and there’s an urgency to get a deal done by Monday to avoid disruptions to the upcoming season.

Lynx forward Dorka Juhász (personal) will sit out the 2025 season.

After appearing in 37 games with the Lynx last season, starting seven, Juhász will not play during the 2025 season for personal reasons. She spent this season with Famila Basket Schio in Italy, for whom she also played during the 2023-24 campaign. Juhász deciding to sit out the 2025 season frees up a roster spot and cap space for the Lynx, who have until May 15 to finalize their roster.
