May retired 18 consecutive batters before issuing a leadoff walk to Fernando Tatis Jr. to open the seventh inning, ending his perfect-game bid. He lost the no-hitter two batters later when Manny Machado sliced a one-out single into left field. He managed to complete eight innings on just 93 pitches and got the nod to return for the final frame, managing to set down Sung-Mun Song, Rodolfo Durán and Fernando Tatis Jr. on eight pitches to complete the shutout. He’s allowed three earned runs or fewer in four consecutive starts since May 27, lowering his ERA from 4.57 to 3.75 in the process. He’ll wrap up a two-start week with a home tilt against the Royals on Sunday.
  • PHI Starting Pitcher #45
Wheeler scattered a pair of hits and three walks, needing just 97 pitches (59 strikes) to reel off six impressive frames. The 36-year-old veteran induced multiple strikeouts on four different pitches and came up just shy of his first double-digit strikeout performance since last August. It’s astonishing how we’ll he’s pitched considering where his fastball velocity was during minor league rehab starts earlier this spring. He’s allowed three earned runs or fewer in nine of his 10 starts and boasts a sparkling 2.01 ERA during that span. He’ll close out a two-start week with a home tilt against the division-rival Mets on Sunday Night Baseball.
  • SF 1st Baseman #16
Olney adds that Luis Arraez and Robbie Ray are also obvious trade candidates. All indications are that Logan Webb is one of the few untouchables for San Francisco as they pivot towards more of a long-term build. The Giants sit at 29–43, nine games out of a playoff spot. Nothing appears imminent, but barring a dramatic turnaround, San Francisco is shaping up to be a seller ahead of the trade deadline in early August.
  • SEA Catcher #29
Raleigh will rejoin Seattle’s lineup following a one-month absence due to a right oblique strain that put him on the injured list for the first time in his six-year career. The 29-year-old slugging backstop went 6-for-14 with five homers across four games for Triple-A Tacoma on a brief minor league rehab assignment. It’s possible the time away and out of the spotlight enabled Raleigh to rediscover last year’s record-setting form, which makes him an obvious buy-low candidate in all fantasy leagues.
  • TEX Shortstop #5
Seager was set to miss his fourth consecutive game during Monday’s series opener against the Twins due to mild concussion symptoms, according to the club. The 32-year-old was involved in a home-plate collision last Thursday against the Red Sox and began experiencing symptoms afterwards. There is no timetable for his return at this juncture.
  • CHC Right Fielder #27
It’s an encouraging development to see Suzuki ready to roll, and likely to avoid a trip to the injured list, after being scratched from Sunday’s series finale against the Giants with right knee discomfort that resurfaced earlier in the weekend. He’s at DH and hitting cleanup on Monday night at Wrigley Field. The 31-year-old slugger missed time earlier this season with a PCL sprain in his right knee so it wouldn’t be surprising to see Chicago manage his workload carefully in the coming days. He’s in the midst of a 10-game hitting streak that dates back to June 3.
  • SD Relief Pitcher #22
Miller, who picked up an impressive four-out save against the Orioles on Sunday, will be away from the club on bereavement leave for the next few days. He’s converted 19 saves with a microscopic 0.90 ERA and 59/12 K/BB ratio across 30 innings this season. His absence will result in either Jason Adam or Adrian Morejon handling any save chances for the Padres. The other dark horse name to watch is hard-throwing rookie Bradgley Rodriguez, who has been an unexpected revelation this season. Fantasy managers should anticipate Miller returning later this week.
  • ATL Catcher #30
Baldwin returns to Atlanta’s lineup for Tuesday’s series opener against the Giants following a one-month absence recovering from an oblique strain. He went 1-for-3 with a solo homer during his lone rehab contest for Triple-A Gwinnett over the weekend. The 25-year-old rising star had been the most impactful catcher in fantasy before landing on the injured list last month, slashing .303/.389/.543 with 13 homers and 38 RBI through 48 games.
  • ATL Starting Pitcher #99
If that follow-up scan is clear, Strider will then begin a throwing progression, which will include full ramp-up and then facing live hitters, etc. That means it’s likely two months before we see Strider on the mound for the Braves, if all goes well, and that would be mid-August. It’s hard to recommend holding him in any redraft format.
  • COL Catcher #15
Taking advantage of the conditions in Las Vegas, the teams combined for eight homers today, with the Rockies responsible for six of them. Goodman is now up to 20 homers on the season, and he took Jeffrey Springs deep in the first inning to give Colorado a 2-0 lead. That was one of six homers on the day for Colorado, and the slugger added a second while also singling thrice for a five-hit night. Goodman has looked the part again in 2026, and there’s not much reason to think he won’t be among the best fantasy catchers in baseball for the foreseeable future.
