NBA FINALS MVP
If you grabbed the Heat and Suns for an NBA Finals exact matchup with me at +1100, then you are pretty excited to see the odds down to +400.
While we could hit the two Finals teams, we need some NBA Finals MVP bets to go along with those two squads. If you followed me on Bet The Edge recently, then you already know Jimmy Butler and the Heat are my MVP and Championship bets.
I did roll with the Suns prior to the postseason, but I have enjoyed what I witnessed from the Miami Heat thus far. The two top players to bet on for Finals MVP between the Suns and Heat are Devin Booker (+550) and Jimmy Butler (+700), along with Chris Paul (+800) and Bam Adebayo (+1800) trailing.
Below you can see the movement on odds for Booker and Butler.
I like the value on Devin Booker (+550) and Jimmy Butler (+700) entering the Eastern and Western Conference Finals are those are two players I would back.
Butler averaged 27.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game in the series versus the 76ers and 30.5 points, 7.8 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game against the Hawks.
Booker averages 25.5 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.0 assists against the Mavericks after coming back from injury in the first round series versus the Pelicans.
If you are looking for value, Jordan Poole (+2500), Klay Thompson (+4000) and Tyler Herro (+4000) all hold value as long shots from 25-to-1 and further. Poole was +50000 at one point, while Herro was +30000.
I would not talk anyone out of Butler, Booker or those three for some lunch money, but I would talk them out of value on Stephen Curry (+370), Luka Doncic (+2200) and any Celtics and Bucks players until Game 7 is concluded.
