Week 3 of the NFL season is all but complete so it’s time to get back at it for Week 4. Some games are best bet early in the week and so here is a look at a few games that I have already placed a wager on.
Detroit Lions vs. Chicago Bears (-3.5) Total: 44
After what we saw from the Chicago Bears yesterday in Cleveland, there is no way you can lay points with them this time, even vs. the Detroit Lions. Watching the game, it’s clear rookie QB Justin Fields is not ready to be a starter in this league as in Week 3 the Bears averaged 1.1 yards per play. Conversely, one thing about the Lions is that they play hard. Bet this game at Lions +3.5. The last time these two teams played, the Lions beat the Bears straight up as 3-point road Underdogs.

Washington Football Team vs. Atlanta Falcons (-1) Total: 48.5
There are actually two bets to make here. That said, we were sold a false bill of goods on the Washington Football Team’s defense -- we thought they had a good defense prior to the season. The truth is it may be the worst. In that case, bet the Over. The Atlanta Falcons are home favorites in this game. Since 2018, the Falcons are 6-12 ATS as home favorites. This is easy money.

New York Giants vs. New Orleans Saints (-8.5) Total: 43.5
The New York Giants will struggle to score this week; the Giants scored 14 points at home vs the Falcons in Week 3. This week they go on the road to face the New Orleans Saints in the first game of the season in the Superdome. The Saints have a top-10 defense and lead the league in takeaways. The Giants are going to get stomped in Week 4. I already have a bet on the spread and the Under.
