Separate off-the-field issues resulted in Georgia safety Bacarri Rambo and linebacker Alec Ogletree missing last Saturday’s opener against Buffalo. It will apparently result in the pair’s absence from tomorrow’s game against Missouri as well.
The Macon Telegraph was one of many Georgai beat papers to report that Rambo and Ogletree were not on the plane to Columbia. ESPN.com later confirmed that the two would in fact miss tomorrow’s game as they continue to carry out suspensions handed down by the school.
The Bulldogs are also supposed to be without cornerback Sanders Commings and outside linebacker Chase Vasser, who are serving two-game suspensions for offseason arrests.
UGA has not publicly confirmed that Rambo and Ogletree were not on the flight, however. The pair was connected to failed drug tests this offseason.
