Tanner Scott allowed one hit and struck out two batters in a scoreless ninth inning to earn the save against the Twins on Wednesday.
Scott was able to work around a lead-off single by Austin Martin in a one run game to secure the save. That was his fifth consecutive converted save over the past two weeks and he’s cruising as the Dodgers’ closer with a 2.18 ERA on the season. Expect elite production out of him until Edwin Díaz eventually returns.
