Corey Seager (back) took live batting practice in a simulated game setting on Friday without any issues.
Seager took around four at-bats during the session. He’ll repeat the process once more at some point over the weekend, and if all goes well the Rangers will discuss plans for his rehab assignment. The 32-year-old infielder has been sidelined since July 1 due to lower back inflammation.
