Kyle Bradish wasn’t at his best during Thursday night’s loss to the Yankees, giving up five runs (three earned) on eight hits across 5 2/3 frames.
The 29-year-old righty punched out five batters in the contest while issuing a pair of free passes. The Yankees struck for three runs (two of them unearned) in the third inning, then Bradish served up solo homers to Luis Garcia Jr. and Spencer Jones before exiting in the sixth inning. Bradish got 10 whiffs on 100 pitches on the night, posting an uninspiring CSW of 25 percent. He’ll look to bounce back as he carries a 3.70 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and a 129/60 K/BB ratio (138 2/3 innings) into Wednesday’s matchup against the Cardinals in St. Louis.
