2005 first-round pick C.J. Henry went 2-for-4 and hit his eighth homer for low Single-A Lakewood on Tuesday
The good news is that Henry, who was drafted by the Yankees and sent to the Phillies in the Bobby Abreu trade, is showing legitimate power. The bad is that he’s batting .199 with a 61/7 K/BB ratio in 161 at-bats and he’s playing left field most of the time now after being drafted as a shortstop. He’s still young and toolsy, but it’s pretty unlikely that he’ll ever reach the majors.

Jordan Lawlar is expected to miss at least a week for Triple-A Reno after leaving Thursday’s game with a hamstring injury.
Lawlar is one of the game’s very best prospects, but his frequent injuries are a cause for concern. If he can stay healthy, he could have some mixed-league value over the final two months should the Diamondbacks opt to sell and trade Eugenio Suárez.
'Move on' from Diamondbacks' Gallen in fantasy
With inflated numbers across the board this year and little hope for a quick turnaround, Zac Gallen has made himself droppable in all fantasy baseball formats, minus NL-only leagues.
  • NYM Starting Pitcher #46
Mets’ manager Carlos Mendoza told reporters after Thursday’s game that Griffin Canning may have suffered an Achilles injury.
Mendoza noted that while they’re still awaiting the results of Canning’s MRI exam, the expectation is that he suffered a major Achilles injury. It’s a devastating blow to the Mets and for the 29-year-old right-hander who has resurrected his career in his first season with the ballclub. Look for the Mets to provide another update on his status as soon as the results of that MRI exam are available.
  • ATL Starting Pitcher #75
Braves’ manager Brian Snitker confirmed on Thursday that rookie right-hander Didier Fuentes will take his next turn in the club’s starting rotation next week.
Fuentes has been rocked in his first two starts, posting a miserable 10.80 ERA, 1.80 WHIP and a 4/1 K/BB ratio across 8 1/3 innings to begin his big league career. He’ll take the ball on Tuesday against the Angels and is not a recommended streaming option for fantasy purposes.

Pete Alonso went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI as the Mets triumphed over the Braves 4-0 on Thursday evening in New York.
The 30-year-old slugger came through with a two-out RBI single off of Grant Holmes in the fifth inning that extended the Mets’ lead to 2-0. He also doubled off of Dylan Dodd in the seventh inning and scored on a two-run single off the bat of Jeff McNeil. With his three-hit attack, Alonso is now hitting a robust .292/.384/.549 with 18 homers and 65 RBI on the season.
  • NYM Left Fielder #1
Jeff McNeil singled, drew a walk and drove in a pair of runs on Thursday as the Mets shut out the Braves.
McNeil transformed a two-run lead into a four-run advantage with a clutch two-out, two-run single off of Dylan Dodd in the seventh inning. That would be his only hit in three at-bats on the evening. For the season, the versatile 33-year-old is now hitting .255/.344/.490 with eight homers, 26 RBI and one stolen base in his first 183 plate appearances.
  • NYM Relief Pitcher #44
Austin Warren picked up his first victory as a member of the Mets on Thursday, working 2 1/3 innings of scoreless baseball against the Braves.
Warren was pressed into emergency action in the third inning after Griffin Canning exited with a left ankle injury. He allowed just one hit during his time in the ballgame while recording a pair of strikeouts. The 29-year-old hurler has now fired 3 1/3 scoreless innings in two appearances for the Mets this season while posting a 3/1 K/BB ratio.
  • ATL Relief Pitcher #66
Grant Holmes pitched decently in a losing effort against the Mets on Thursday evening, giving up two runs on six hits over his five innings of work.
The 29-year-old right-hander punched out five batters on the evening while issuing three free passes. The Mets scratched out single runs against him in the fourth and fifth innings, but Holmes was able to strike out Tyrone Taylor with the bases loaded to end the fifth and avoid further damage. Holmes got 17 swings and misses on 97 pitches on the night — eight on his slider — while registering a CSW of 30 percent. Now 4-7 on the season, he’ll carry a 3.70 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and a 103/42 K/BB ratio (90 innings) into Wednesday’s matchup against the Angels.
  • MIN Right Fielder #38
Matt Wallner hit a two-run homer in a blowout win over the Mariners on Thursday for the Twins.
Wallner smashed a homer to left-center that extended Minnesota’s lead to 10-0. The power-hitting outfielder has homered seven times in 2025,, and the roundtripper helps his slugging percentage bump up to .442. He’s also hitting just .209 in 2025, and he’s the very definition of a one-category player over the first half of the campaign.
  • MIN Shortstop #2
Brooks Lee hit a solo homer in a blowout win for the Twins on Thursday over the Mariners.
Lee hit a solo homer off Zach Pop in the sixth inning to give the Twins a 3-0 lead. Minnesota would end up scoring another seven runs in the inning. It’s been a strong month of June for the 24-year-old, as Lee has now homered four times with a .907 OPS over those 77 at-bats since the end of May.
  • MIN Right Fielder #9
Trevor Larnach delivered a two-run homer and drove in three runs to help the Twins to a 10-1 rout of the Mariners on Thursday.
In a scoreless game in the fifth inning, Larnach smoked a two-run homer off Emerson Hancock to give the Twins a 2-0 lead. They’d score the next eight in a game that ended up being a rout, but it doesn’t happen without Larnach. He also drive in a run on a fielder’s choice in an eight-run sixth inning. Larnach has homered 12 times over the first half of the campaign, and he’s plated 39 runs. Those aren’t elite numbers, but there’s been some strong moments for Larnach over his first 282 at-bats.
